Should Social Content Be Considered Advertising Or Editorial?

It’s an interesting question that I suspect will be hotly debated for some time. Check out this story out of Australia. A men’s magazine posted a pretty demeaning picture and question on its Facebook page, which was banned by the country’s ad watchdog group. But the poster is arguing that this was editorial content vs. advertising, and therefore not subject to the same laws. This one’s gonna be good…
