(And everyone else, for that matter.) While enjoying some Napa Valley wine at a friend’s wedding this past weekend, I caught the event photographer in the pose shown in this picture. Glorious, I exclaimed!
Go ahead and check out your local wedding photographer’s website and report back with your findings. Chances are, you’ll see a bunch of beautiful pictures and maybe a few customer testimonials. Good stuff. But, as Seth Godin explains, we rarely buy a product or service for its main benefit, but rather for what else it does. Safe to assume that most experienced wedding photographers have super nice cameras and take really pretty pictures. But how many are willing to lay down in the grass – when nobody is looking, mind you – to get a unique shot of flower petals strewn along the lawn?
